Nuclino

Cartographer seamlessly integrates with Nuclino, allowing you to instantly generate and update Nuclino pages from your Cartographer documents.

Connecting to Nuclino

  1. Nuclino relies on API keys to securely sync documents. Navigate to your user profile in Nuclino.

  2. Scroll down to the API Keys section and create a new key.

  3. Save the API Key for future use.
  4. Switch back to Cartographer. In the left-hand menu, click the Integrations navigation button.
  5. In the top-right toolbar, click the Add Nuclino Integration icon.

  6. You will be taken to a form with two fields: Name and API Key. Enter any name you’d like for your integration, then paste the API key you copied from Nuclino into the field and click Save.

    Note: If your API Key is invalid, you will not be able to save the integration.

  7. Once saved, the integration will appear in your table. You can edit or delete it at any time by clicking the chevron icon. Additionally, you can set a default workspace for publishing, and update the integration’s name as needed.


Syncing your documents to Nuclino

  1. Navigate to the document you want to sync. In the top-right toolbar, click the ellipsis (⋯) and select Integrations.

  2. Your Nuclino integration will appear in the grid view. Click the Connect button to link your document to your Nuclino instance.

  3. A modal will appear prompting for three fields: Collection ID, Workspace, and Page Name.
    • Collection ID (optional): Use this if you want your document nested under a collection. Leaving it blank places the document at the root of the workspace.
    • Workspace: Defaults to your integration’s default workspace. You can select a different space from the dropdown.
    • Page Name: The name your page will have in Nuclino. Defaults to your Cartographer document name.

  4. Once all required fields are filled out, click Save to connect.
  5. Once your document is connected, you must click the Resync button in the bottom-right corner to create or update Nuclino pages. This ensures that any edits, additions, or formatting changes in your Cartographer document are reflected in Nuclino. Click Resync whenever you make changes to keep your Nuclino pages up to date.

    6. Resync integrations

  6. To edit or delete a document integration, click the ellipsis (⋯) icon to access the available options.
  7. That’s it! Your document is now viewable in Nuclino.
